With surface-dyed, light-colored smooth leather or artificial leather, the discoloration can occur from jeans, belts, bags, or pens. If these discolorations are not removed immediately by cleaning, the dyes will penetrate the surface. GLD Solution ND is a solvent that can be used to try to remove such discolorations if gentler cleaners have been unsuccessful.
