A rinseless car wash lets you clean your car with one bucket and no hose. The special polymers wrap around dirt and lift it off the paint so you can wipe it away safely. It's perfect for apartments, garages, winter, and places with water limits.
How to choose the right rinseless wash
- Optimum No Rinse (ONR): the original rinseless wash, created by Optimum in 2005. It's safe on coatings, PPF, and matte paint, and works on interior surfaces too.
- P&S Absolute Rinseless Wash: slick and spot-free, and safe on paint, coatings, wraps, and PPF. It also works as a quick detailer and clay lube.
- Koch-Chemie Rapid Rinseless Wash: a gentle wash for lightly dirty cars that leaves a silky finish and keeps existing wax in place.
- Armour Detail Supply Hero: an eco-conscious rinseless wash with silica for extra slickness. It won't interfere with your wax, sealant, or coating.
Rinseless vs. waterless
Rinseless washes use a bucket of diluted solution and work well on cars with light to moderate dirt. Waterless washes come ready to spray and are best for light dust. Learn the difference in our rinseless car wash guide and our waterless car wash guide.
For the wash itself, use an ULTRA Safe Sponge or plush rinseless wash towels, then dry with a drying towel. Our Optimum No Rinse + ULTRA Safe Sponge Wash Kit bundles the soap and sponge together.
