Carpet & Upholstery Detailing Chemicals

Car carpets and seats soak up spills, mud, and food, and a quick interior spray can't always reach deep enough. A dedicated car carpet cleaner or upholstery cleaner breaks down stains in the fibers so you can lift them out instead of pushing them around. We carry formulas from P&S, Koch-Chemie, and Gtechniq for every kind of mess.

How to choose the right car upholstery cleaner

  • Heavy-duty carpet cleaner: P&S Carpet Bomber uses citrus derivatives and water-based solvents to cut through grease and grime on all carpets.
  • Spot and stain pretreatment: P&S Terminator Enzyme Spot & Stain works on grease, oil, grime, and food stains before you shampoo.
  • Car seat cleaner for leather, Alcantara, and fabric: Koch-Chemie Pol Star is a neutral cleaner that lifts dirt from deep in the fibers. Wipe it off with a damp towel or extract it with a wet/dry vacuum.
  • Odor and organic stains: P&S Finisher Peroxide Treatment targets odor-causing molecules, water stains, and mildew odors, then breaks down into oxygen and water.
  • Fabric protection: Gtechniq I1v3 Smart Fabric AB repels water and oil-based stains without changing the fabric's texture, color, or breathability.

How to clean car carpets and seats

Vacuum well, pretreat stains, then agitate with a Carpet Drill Brush or an interior brush. Blot up the cleaner and lifted dirt with carpet and upholstery towels, and let everything dry fully before you close the car up.

Our 5-step carpet cleaning guide walks through the whole process. For smells that stay after cleaning, see odor elimination.
