    Great Mid Level Pad

    I researched a lot about this pad and this is my personal take on it. It is a really great overall pad. The pro’s of the pad are that on mid to soft paint/clear coat the cut is just what you need to remove swirls and defects while being able to finish down almost perfectly. I was able to achieve defect removal and a nice finish using 3D One in a one step correction. If you still want you can definitely use a proper finishing pad to achieve a perfect finish.

    The only things to note or watch out for when you using these pads are that they are true to size to your backing plate. This meaning that the pad fits perfectly to the back plate with no extra cushion or layering hanging out. Most pads have an extra .5” or .25” to protect from the backing plate touching the clear coat if at an angle or not fully flat on the panel. Definitely something to keep in mind as the user to prevent any damage.

    All in all you just have to get the hang of it and use it often to get control and comfortable with it, but once you do you get true stellar results with the right compound or polish. The pad is easy to clean for the most part and the urofibers are definitely an attractive appearance.
