Stjarnagloss Matta vs Bubblor - What's the Difference? | FAQ
Jun 04, 2025
Stjarnagloss is a UK-based manufacturer of car detailing chemicals. They offer two different car wash soaps: Matta and Bubblor. What are the differences between them? Anthony explains in this FAQ video.
Matta
Matta is a pH-balanced soap that doesn't have any added gloss enhancers, which means the final result will have a more matte (i.e. not as glossy) finish. This shampoo smells great, does exceptionally well in a foam cannon, and provides a lot of lubricity and cleaning power for scrubbing.
Bubblor
Bubblor has gloss enhancers, which will result in a shinier-looking car. The result will be similar to Parla. Bubblor also smells amazing and has a ton of lubricity, but doesn’t produce as much rich foam as Matta. Less foam doesn't mean less cleaning power; it just means less lather coming out of the foam cannon.
