DEFENDER SiO2 Protectant is the ideal product for both professionals and enthusiasts for use as a topper/maintenance treatment for Inspiration Coatings as well as other coatings or as a standalone SiO2 Protectant. Defender SiO2 Protectant (DSP) is very easy to apply and use in most environments. Defender creates incredible gloss, slickness, and durable protection. Although Defender is primarily for painted surfaces it also can be used on metal, glass, and trim.
Directions
If using as a coating topper ensure coating has had time to set up prior to Defender installation. In most cases we recommend 1 hour minimum. Always apply to a cool surface when possible and out of direct sunlight. Defender may be applied directly to the paint surface or sprayed on to micro fiber towel and wipe applied. Once applied spread evenly for uniform application in a 3’ x 3’ area, allow to set for brief moment flip micro fiber towel and wipe to bright finish. Repeat process over entire vehicle.

This is an unbelievable product. My truck is in excellent condition but I wanted to give this product a try after seeing videos on UTube. First I used Incredible Suds in my foam cannon and washed it. Then while still wet I used Rag Companies Fine Clay Towel and Bead Maker as a lubricant to further remove all contaminants. Dried the truck completely and waited 1 1/2 hour, then sprayed Defender on a half a panel at a time with Rag Companies 350 GSM towel and wiped over with another 350 GSM towel. The truck now is so slick anything you put on it slides off. Try it you will love it.
