I1 Smart Fabric AB v3 is a next-gen fabric protector that keeps your surfaces looking and feeling like new by repelling both water and oil-based stains without affecting the fabric’s texture, color, or breathability. Enhanced with BioCote antimicrobial technology, it actively kills 99.9% of bacteria, adding an extra layer of cleanliness and confidence. Whether you're treating car interiors, convertible tops, outdoor gear, tents, awnings, or sails, it prevents water absorption, swelling, and long-term issues like mold, mildew, and fabric rot. Using advanced nanotechnology, it bonds to individual fibers to create an invisible shield that lasts, all while keeping materials soft and comfortable. It’s powerful, easy to use, and totally fluorocarbon-free. For best results, we always recommend testing on a small hidden area before full application.

Note: This product cannot be shipped to the state of California due to material laws.

Fantastic fabric protectant for the upcoming winter! *Used on my sneakers and winter jackets!*

I've been meaning to try out this new and improved version. Since I don't have a convertible top I have been using Smart Fabric on my shoes for years now. This time I decided to see how well it works on a sherpa lined fleece jacket I just purchased from costco.

Washed the jacket and then proceeded to douse the outside with the smart fabric until thoroughly soaked as per instructions. I would caution to do this in a well ventilated area as I did this in my bathroom and had to get a fan blasting in there for a few hours to dissipate the fumes. I let the jacket dry for a day and a half before using. I did notice that it left quite a tacky texture on the fleece fabric when I felt it after it was dry. I was hoping that it wouldn't just rub off on my seatbelt or car seat after one use.

I did an initial water test on the sleeves, and sure enough the water just ran right off. With the winter weather approaching here in the PNW, I wanted to test the capabilities of the water repellency when out and about. Unfortunately it hasn't rained hard enough to really put the jacket through its paces but it does keep the water off and any drops left are micro droplets which are easily shaken off. I wanted to see how long the product would last on the jacket, and after one week I washed the jacket by itself. Washed on hot and dried on low. The tacky texture was gone when it came out of the dryer, and I immediately tested the repellency under the faucet. Still 100% water…
