Directions
- Wash vehicle to remove loose dirt and debris
- Spray your preferred clay lubricant on a small section of the vehicle
- Gently rub the Ultra Clay Towel over the lubricated area until contaminants are removed and surface is smooth. Wipe area with a Microfiber Drying Towel. Continue in sections until the vehicle is fully decontaminated
- Follow with Your Favorite Wax, Sealant, or move onto compound/polish
Prior to initial use rub the Ultra Clay Towel on glass using clay lubricant. Inspect surface of the Ultra Clay Towel before and during use. To clean the clay surface, spray clay surface with lubricant and wipe gently with hand. After repeated use, or if too much contamination is present, discard and use a new Ultra Clay Towel.
- Do not soak in liquid
- Do not squeeze or wring out
- Do not store laying flat on clay media surface
- Do not store wet in air tight containers

Since I haven’t had the occasion to use it, I’ll comment on the quality of the Reset Clay Towel.
My preferred method of claying a car has been the old fashioned way…with a clay bar. However, I recently decided to give a clay mitt or towel a try. Prices varied widely, so I chose to order a mitt that was middle of the road.
When I received the mitt, I was surprised to see that the clay layer was quite thin and not at all consistent in texture. I’m no clairvoyant, but I see a very short future in the lifespan of that mitt. The undulating texture will also have a detrimental effect on my finished product. Lesson learned, ‘you get what you pay for’!!
Contrast that with the Reset Clay Towel. The thickness of the applied clay is probably double that of the cheaper alternative. It is well attached to the backing material. The texture is even and perfectly consistent. With proper care, this towel will last a very long time and will provide an excellent finished product over that lifespan. These things considered, I expect that the Reset will net out as the higher value product in the long haul. I’m glad I made this purchase!
