How to Use
Before You Start:
- Shake well before use and avoid applying in direct sunlight
- Use proper protection including gloves, eye protection, and a mask if working in an enclosed space
- Test a small area first to confirm flash time
- Shelf life is twelve months unopened and should be used within six months after opening
Prep:
Getting the glass perfectly clean is the most important part. Armour Glass Coating does the heavy lifting, but it can’t fix poor prep.
- Start by fully decontaminating the glass with Armour Detail Supply Decon Soap and Iron
- Use a clay bar or synthetic clay mitt to remove embedded contaminants
- For the best results, polish the glass to remove old coatings and improve bonding
- Wipe down the surface with Armour Detail Supply Panel Prep to remove all oils or residue
- If you skip polishing, wipe with Panel Prep twice to ensure the surface is completely clean
Once the glass is spotless and fully prepped, you're ready to apply Armour Glass Coating.
