How to Use
Always start by degreasing the repair area to remove any residue, then smooth out rough spots with the sanding pad.
- Apply COLOURLOCK Fluid Leather to the damaged area using a spatula and spread it evenly
- Let it dry for 1 to 2 hours, depending on the thickness of the layer
- Repeat the process until the area is filled and as smooth as possible
- Do not sand the dried Fluid Leather directly, as it can damage the repair
- Use COLOURLOCK GLD Solvent ND to smooth the surface after drying
- Press the GLD Pen tip several times to moisten it, then wipe off any excess if needed
- Carefully smooth the repair with the moistened tip in light, controlled motions
- If the area becomes wet with GLD, you can use the Leather Sanding Pad for extra smoothing
- Always use small amounts of GLD to avoid over-dissolving the repair
- Recolour the repaired area with COLOURLOCK Leather Fresh by dabbing on several thin layers and drying each one with a hair dryer
- After 24 hours, protect the repair by applying COLOURLOCK Leather Protector
