How to Use
Before You Start:
- Park the vehicle completely out of direct sunlight
- Make sure the ambient and surface temperature is above 5°C or 40°F
- Put on the supplied protective gloves before handling panel prep or application and keep them on
- Ensure clean microfibers are unboxed and ready for residue removal steps
- Always test on a small hidden area first
Application:
- STEP 1 – DEEP CLEAN YOUR CAR: Carry out a full decontamination wash to remove transport residue, fallout, and bonded contaminants. Ensure the vehicle is fully dry before moving to the next stage.
- STEP 2 – PANEL PREPARATION: Put on the supplied gloves. Spray Panel Wipe onto the lighter grey MF1 Microfibre Buff Cloth and wipe down each panel one by one, ensuring all streaks and residues are fully removed across the entire vehicle.
- STEP 3 – APPLY THE COATING (Prepare Applicator): Apply GT1 evenly to the supplied applicator pad until the face is fully covered and primed, making sure it is not overloaded or dripping.
- STEP 4 – APPLY THE COATING (Crosshatch Method): Start with the painted panels from the top of the vehicle down. Apply using smooth, overlapping passes side-to-side first, then up-and-down to create an even, consistent crosshatch layer.
- STEP 5 – MONITOR FLASH TIME: Allow the coating to sit for a short time until it begins to react and separate into visible beading. This takes roughly 30 seconds in warm/humid environments, or up to 60 seconds in cooler/drier conditions.
- STEP 6 – RESIDUE REMOVAL: Using a clean darker grey MF6 Microfibre Cloth, gently remove residue with light, controlled movements without pressure. Follow immediately with a second clean MF6 cloth to refine and buff to a clear, high-gloss finish.
- STEP 7 – INSPECTION & PROGRESSION: Carefully inspect the panel under good lighting or a torch to verify all residue is removed. Continue panel-by-panel across the paintwork, then progress onto the windows (excluding windshields), trim, and wheels.
- STEP 8 – CURE: For best performance, allow the coating to cure for 7 days before washing the vehicle to ensure full chemical bonding and maximum durability.
