C4 Permanent Trim Restorer - Case
C4 Permanent Trim Restorer forms a true chemical bond with plastic trim, becoming an integral part of the surface rather than merely sitting on top. Unlike weaker electrostatic bonds found in many PTFE-based products, C4 covalently bonds with the plastic, effectively exchanging part of its molecular structure with that of the trim.
The result? A highly durable, ultra-thin (~30nm), optically clear protective coating that doesn’t leave behind a greasy or overly glossy finish. Instead, it restores and rejuvenates faded trim, bringing it back to an “as-new” appearance without altering the natural texture or look of the material.
Thanks to its advanced formulation and deep bonding capability, C4 offers up to 2 years of protection from a single application—far outperforming conventional trim dressings in both longevity and finish quality.
How to Use
- Do not dilute
- Apply above 40°F and avoid direct sunlight
- Wear gloves to prevent skin dryness
- Ensure good ventilation if applying indoors
- 15ml is enough for standard trim (e.g. Porsche 996, BMW 5 Series)
- 30ml recommended for larger trim areas (e.g. black bumpers, Mini R53 wheel arches)
- Clean trim thoroughly with a 1:10 dilution of Gtechniq W2; surface must be free of oils or old products
- Use supplied lint-free pads to apply
- Wipe off excess immediately with a quality microfiber (Edgeless 300, 365, or Pearl recommended)
- Allow coating to cure for 12 hours before exposure to moisture
- On heavily textured trim, prep thoroughly with W2 and a medium brush
- Ensure no residue remains in texture, use long-pile microfiber cloths (e.g. Eagle Edgeless or Creature Edgeless) for best results
Note: C4 contains no pigment; if a damp cloth temporarily restores trim color, C4 will likely work

Within 30 days from purchase: TRC will replace items damaged in shipping upon inspection of photos. Opened, used, or partially used products excluded, as well as any degradation from storage or environmental exposure; customer dissatisfaction with scent, color, or consistency; misuse.
After 30 days: no warranty applies.
