Why Rags to Riches is The Ultimate Microfiber Towel Detergent

When your microfiber towels are clogged, sealed, or leaving streaks wherever they go, it is time to give them the ultimate cleaning to bring them back to full absorbency with Rags to Riches Microfiber Detergent.
We partnered with a leader in the detailing chemical industry, P&S Detailing products, to create a detergent that was specifically designed to revive clogged microfiber towels and restore them to full absorbency.
Prior to this, our advice for washing your microfiber products was to wash them in cold water with free and clear detergent with a splash of white vinegar in the fabric softener port. To dry your microfiber, it is best to wash them on the low/no heat cycle or hang dry them.
However, the explosion in the use of spray sealants has created the need for a product with more "oomph" in order to wash the sealants out of the microfibers. Since spray sealants create a hydrophobic barrier, which gets into the fibers, making the towels hydrophobic. How do you wash something that's hydrophobic?
That's where Rags to Riches comes in.
The chemists at P&S worked out a formula that manages to release the hydrophobic sealants in the fibers and release them from the fibers. We extensively tested Rags to Riches at every step of the process to ensure the best possible product. Even if you don't have clogged towels, Rags to Riches is able to remove dirt, light staining, and other cleaning chemicals you used with your towels. You can absolutely use them on other clothes and linens, but it is designed for use with microfiber.
Don't forget to wash your microfiber products only with other microfiber products.
To use Rags to Riches, simply add 1-2 oz of R2R to your wash load. We recommend 1 oz for a small or lightly soiled load and 2 oz for a large or heavily soiled load. For clogged towels, we recommend using 2 ounces.
Rags to Riches also works great as a re-soak solution. Add 1-2 ounces to a couple of gallons of water. Put your towels in that solution and let them soak for a couple of hours up to 24 hours. Make sure they are fully submerged the entire time. Use something like a Grit Gurard to hold the towels down. After they soak, wash them like normal with 1 oz of Rags to Riches, and you'll see a complete difference in how your towels perform.
